From november 2008 until June 2009 a new café was constructed at Roe Gård. The grand opening was on midsummer's eve 2009. Here you can see & read about it.
Soil work is complete and the plate as the house will rest on cast in place. Pipes for water & sewage sticking up out of the concrete
The frameworke is in place, external and internal walls are being mounted. Roofing tiles have come up. On the inside there is work to be done with the flooring, walls are being tiled, wall panel start to come up and much more ...
The new dining room. Wooden beams in the ceiling have come on the ground and wall panels are set up.
The outside is almost finished, and is being painted to fit in with the other buildings on the farm.
In a cozy environment with several large windows that let in much light you can sit and snack in peace and quiet. In the glass booths, you can watch some of the things that are sold in the shop at Roe Farm.
The completed house from the outside. To the left of the flagpole is the terrace, where you have a lovely view over the surrounding landscape.
For those who prefer to sit outside there is also a large beautiful terrace in the south location. On the fine stone floor you can sit a long time and enjoy a cup of coffee and some good homemade from Roe's own bakery.
